Faith is expectancy, “According to your faith, be it done unto you”
There is a saying, According to your expectancies be it done unto you.” So what are you expecting? We hear people say: “We expect the worst to happen,” or “The worst is yet to come.” They are deliberately inviting the worst to come. Their mental attitude does not correspond with a successful mindset. They will ultimately discourage anything positive from coming into their lives.
On the other hand, we hear some people say: “I expect a change for the better.” They are inviting better conditions into their lives. This type of person most likely will succeed in their endeavors because they are focusing on success, thinking upward. You must think progressively and optimistically because ultimately you will go in the direction you face.
Change your expectancy and change your conditions.
How can you change your expectations, when you have formed the habit of expecting loss, lack or failure? Begin to act as if you only expect success, happiness and abundance; prepare for your good. Our mental attitude must banish a poverty mindset.
Every time you begin to think negative thoughts, immediately transform them into a positive thought. If you constantly think about lack, for example;
- Negative Thought: I don’t have enough money
- Transformational Thought: I always have more than enough money.
Don’t focus on the circumstances around you. Remember, your thoughts create your outward reality. You are currently in a poor state because of what you previously believed. Change your thoughts and you will ultimately change your life!
