What is Persistence? The dictionary answers the question like this…
“The quality that allows someone to continue doing something or trying to do something even though it is difficult or opposed by other people.”
“To go resolutely or stubbornly in spite of opposition: to remain unchanged in a specific condition or position.”
The Law of Persistence
To be unyielding, determined or immovable in spite of obstruction or resistance.
- To keep on being unaffected in a particular circumstance or opinion
- To have the capability to stick to a plan or goal no matter what
That is definitely being persistence. To be diligent and incapable of tiring. I would now however add that together with the “Law of Persistence” you add that there is “Power in Persistence.” Pressing on when the world is saying that you should give up.

Without persistence, you will be defeated, even before you start. With persistence you will win – Napoleon Hill

Who Are You?
The majority of people are ready to throw their dreams, goals and plans overboard and give up at the first sign of challenges or opposition.
- 1. Are you one of those persons who fold and throw in the towel at the first sign of discomfort?
- 2. Are you one of those people who carry on despite all opposition and blockages and stay the course until you reach your goal and attain your purpose?
You are the only person who can answer these two question.
“There may be no heroic connation to the word “persistence,” but the quality is to the character of the man what carbon is to steel.” – Napoleon Hill
