“The reason many people won’t deal with unfinished business is fear. Fear breathes doubt, and doubt leads to a loss of confidence.” Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen Les Hewitt
Fear is like excess baggage, it weighs you down and retards your progress. Many times if left unchecked it could get worse and cause a downward swirl that causes life to go out of control.
The result is a terrible strain on your get -up-and-go which leaves you without effort or energy to work on your goals, plan and dreams. Most of the time fear resides in our minds in our thoughts and one of the ways to subdue it is to conquer it.
You may ask “how do I conquer fear?” You conquer fear by developing the habit of confidence. One writer says…
“Confidence is the key to success in all areas. There is no limit to your potential. Everyday you are making the decision to achieve personal failure or personal success.”
Remember there is no limit to your potential. Do not allow fear to stymie your growth. The development of confidence starts with the eradication of the evil character called fear. Many times fear is your constant companion sitting upon your shoulder whispering that “you are a failure.” Your fears may tell you that you have failed before and that you can perhaps fail again. Occasionally fear could numb you and cause you to sabotage your goals, dreams and plans.
Inside of you, there is a powerful weapon against fear. It is called confidence which has the ability to destroy fear by your allowing it.
Fear exists in the mind. A figment of the imagination. You can overcome fear and uncertainty by developing and employing the habit of confidence.
Confront your fears with courage and you will gain confidence which will cause you to work on your goals, plans and dreams. Put fear behind you and welcome the spirit called CONFIDENCE.
